A young man lost his life on Friday evening in Terrebonne, Quebec, following an altercation at a park close to an elementary school. The incident was reported to the Terrebonne police around 9 p.m. when a brawl erupted involving multiple individuals at a park adjacent to Sablière school on des Seigneurs Boulevard.
At the scene, a man aged between 18 and 20 was discovered with severe injuries. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The investigation into this tragic event is being handled by the Sûreté du Québec’s major crimes division in conjunction with the local Terrebonne police.
No suspects have been apprehended yet. Authorities are appealing to the public for assistance in locating a young man who was allegedly struck by a moving vehicle in a possible hit-and-run near the park where the fatal incident took place. Terrebonne is situated to the northeast of Montreal.
