A serious road rage incident in North Vancouver, B.C., has left an individual in critical condition, as confirmed by RCMP. The authorities were alerted to a heated dispute over merging at Boulevard Crescent and East 21st Street around 3 p.m. on Saturday, as stated in a news release issued on Sunday. Witnesses informed the police that during the altercation, a person from a white Jeep stepped out and was hit by a grey Subaru.

The driver of the Subaru was apprehended by officers, while the injured party was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Although specific details were not disclosed, the suspect is now facing multiple charges in connection with the incident. RCMP disclosed that the suspect was let go under certain conditions set by the police.

Cpl. Mansoor Sahak, the media relations officer for the North Vancouver RCMP, highlighted the traumatic impact on witnesses, mentioning ongoing evaluations of the victim’s condition that could influence the charges as the investigation unfolds.
