Bad Bunny made good on his promise of a vibrant celebration leading up to his Super Bowl halftime show performance. The 31-year-old Puerto Rican music sensation captivated the audience with a dynamic set featuring 13 songs within a short timeframe. The event, organized by Jay-Z’s Roc Nation and Apple Music, showcased Bad Bunny in an all-white suit as he kicked off the show with his hit track, “Tití Me Preguntó,” against a backdrop representing his homeland.

Rather than using his massive platform to address specific political issues such as U.S. President Trump or Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) actions, Bad Bunny focused on promoting unity across the Americas during his performance. This appearance marks a highlight in his career following the success of his sixth studio album, “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS,” which propelled him to become the most streamed artist globally in 2025 on Spotify.

The artist’s upcoming plans include a tour across Europe, Latin America, and Asia, building on the momentum from his recent achievements at the Grammys. Notably, Bad Bunny’s halftime show also featured guest appearances, including Lady Gaga, who added a salsa twist to the performance. The energetic set incorporated references to Puerto Rican culture, reinforcing the star’s connection to his roots.

While the show did not overtly delve into politics, some song choices subtly touched on socio-political themes. The performance of “El Apagón” shed light on the challenges faced by Puerto Ricans, symbolized through power outages. Ricky Martin’s collaboration further emphasized the message against gentrification.

Despite speculation about potential political statements, Bad Bunny’s focus remained on spreading love and Latino pride. He concluded the show with a heartfelt rendition of “DtMF,” accompanied by a display of unity through a lineup of flagbearers representing various countries in the Americas. The singer’s message of unity and love resonated strongly, culminating in a powerful display that transcended political divides.
