Despite this, Peeteetuce repeatedly denied or claimed no recollection of making those statements when questioned by the prosecution and defense. When pressed about the incident in the garage, Peeteetuce mentioned being acquainted with Gallagher only through Facebook and meeting her once in the said location. She described a gathering involving drinking and drug use, clarifying that she did not interact with Gallagher during the event. Peeteetuce stated she could not recall the duration of Gallagher’s presence in the garage or the events that transpired there, emphasizing her lack of attention to the situation. She also indicated no memory of the circumstances leading to her guilty plea earlier. When asked to identify Sutherland in the courtroom, Peeteetuce initially claimed she could not see him, even after his relocation within her sightline.
