Air Canada has revealed its plan to increase the frequency of trips between the Region of Waterloo International Airport and Toronto’s Pearson Airport to 10 starting from December 1st. The enhanced service provided by The Landline Company allows passengers to park, check-in, and then board a coach bus that transports them to Pearson Airport for their flights. Travelers can conveniently book the bus trip along with their flight tickets.

According to Rizwan Qadir, a representative for Landline, there has been positive feedback from customers since the service was launched in May 2024. Responding to the demand for more trips to align with flight schedules, the frequency has been doubled to ten trips per day. This change allows travelers to better coordinate their outbound and return Air Canada flights.

Ranbir Singh, Air Canada’s director of regional airlines and markets, expressed satisfaction with the increasing number of passengers utilizing the bus service from the Region of Waterloo International Airport. Regional Chair Karen Redman welcomed the expanded service, emphasizing that it provides residents with more choices and reinforces the airport’s global connectivity. The increased frequency of trips aims to enhance accessibility for residents, businesses, and visitors.

As a result of the additional trips, departure times will be adjusted slightly. The first bus will depart from the region’s airport at 5:30 a.m., with the final departure at 8:25 p.m. Buses from Pearson Airport will commence daily trips back to the Waterloo region at 7 a.m., with the last trip departing at 10:15 p.m.
