A synagogue on Adelaide Street North in London was targeted by vandals who threw a brick through one of its windows, according to the police. The incident occurred overnight between October 6 and October 7. The perpetrators stole alcohol and money from a charity box. Although initial findings do not suggest a hate crime, the case has been transferred to the street crime unit and is under the scrutiny of the hate crime unit, as confirmed by a police representative.
The Beth Tefilah Synagogue in London, Ontario, faced property damage as a result of the shattered window. The London Police Street Crime Unit has taken on the investigation, with additional oversight from the Hate Crime Unit.
