The Royal Family faces renewed scrutiny with the release of a posthumous memoir by Virginia Giuffre, a vocal accuser of Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein. Titled “Nobody’s Girl,” the book sheds light on Giuffre’s allegations of sexual abuse by Andrew when she was under 18 and a victim of trafficking by Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Although the memoir doesn’t introduce new revelations, it has reignited accusations against Andrew, who is grappling with the ongoing scandal surrounding his association with Epstein. Last week, the prince announced his decision to relinquish his titles, including Duke of York, while vehemently denying Giuffre’s claims.

In the book, Giuffre recounts three encounters with Andrew, detailing how she was introduced to him by Maxwell in London in 2001 at the age of 17. She describes being coerced into sexual activities with the prince on multiple occasions, including visits to Epstein’s residence in New York and his private island in the Caribbean.

Giuffre also reveals that Epstein rewarded her with $15,000 after her encounters with Andrew. The memoir has quickly gained popularity, reaching the top spot on Amazon’s bestseller list prior to its official release.

The narrative further delves into a lawsuit settlement reached between Andrew and Giuffre in 2022, where the prince acknowledged her suffering as a victim of sex trafficking without admitting guilt. Giuffre expressed a desire for a meaningful apology from Andrew, emphasizing the importance of acknowledging her ordeal.

The book’s publication has triggered calls for Buckingham Palace and the U.K. government to strip Andrew of his titles and privileges. Lawmakers are urging formal actions to distance the Royal Family from the prince, emphasizing the need for accountability and transparency in addressing the allegations.

Ghostwriter Amy Wallace has called for Andrew to testify in the U.S. about his knowledge of Epstein’s crimes, highlighting Giuffre’s bravery in confronting the situation. The unfolding developments underscore the ongoing impact of the scandal on the monarchy and the urgency for accountability in addressing the allegations.
