The latest additions to the PWHL now have their official team jerseys on display.

Both PWHL Vancouver and Seattle revealed their inaugural jerseys, designed by Bauer, a month ahead of their first matchup in Vancouver.

The jerseys prominently feature the city names on the chest, with unique color schemes for each team. The logos and team names will be finalized before the start of the 2026-27 season.

Vancouver’s jersey draws inspiration from the city’s natural environment, incorporating shades of pacific blue, cream, and earthy bronze.

Expressing her excitement, forward Sarah Nurse from PWHL Vancouver shared, “It’s an amazing feeling to unveil our jerseys to the fans. Wearing it for the first game next month feels surreal. We already sense tremendous support from Vancouver fans and look forward to showcasing our skills on opening night.”

Meanwhile, Seattle’s jerseys feature deep slate green, cream, and river blue accents, paying homage to the PWHL’s founding season with a timeless design.

Expressing pride in the team, PWHL Seattle GM Meghan Turner stated, “Wearing our city name in our inaugural season signifies our commitment to Seattle, its heritage, and our dedication to representing the city with honor.”

The PWHL season is set to kick off on Nov. 21, featuring Seattle against Vancouver in one of the opening night’s two matches.

Notable Expansion Teams

Both teams were formed through an expansion draft that saw significant players from the league’s existing six teams moving to the new franchises.

Vancouver boasts a formidable defensive lineup, anchored by key players from the Minnesota Frost, including Sophie Jaques, Claire Thompson, and Mellissa Channell-Watkins.

In addition to Nurse, Vancouver has secured local talents Hannah Miller and Jennifer Gardiner for the forward positions.

Former Ottawa Charge goalie Emerance Maschmeyer joined Vancouver through the expansion draft, with Kristen Campbell acquired from the Toronto Sceptres via a trade.
