Canada’s Brad Jacobs continued his winning streak at the Pan Continental Curling Championships by claiming a decisive 14-6 victory over South Korea in Virginia, Minnesota. The game was evenly matched at 5-5 after five ends, but Jacobs’ team from Calgary took control by scoring four points in the sixth end and adding five more in the eighth. Despite a strong start by South Korea’s Soo-Hyuk Kim, the Canadian team’s performance led by Jacobs, vice-skip Marc Kennedy, second Brett Gallant, and lead Ben Hebert, shooting at an impressive 93%, with Kennedy leading at 95%, secured the win.

Next up, Canada is set to play against New Zealand’s Sean Becker, who is currently at 0-3, at the Iron Range Motors Event Center. In the women’s competition, Ottawa’s Rachel Homan, with a record of 2-1, defeated Mexico’s Adriana Camarena, who is at 0-3, with a commanding 9-3 victory, starting strong with three points in the first end. Homan’s upcoming matches on Thursday include facing South Korea’s Eunji Gim, standing at 1-2, and China’s Rui Wang, unbeaten at 3-0.
