Will Dandjinou had an impressive performance at the Short Track World Tour event in Montreal, securing three speed skating medals on Sunday and accumulating a total of five over the two-day competition. Leading the Canadian squad, he first claimed gold in the 2,000-meter mixed relay alongside Danaé Blais, Courtney Sarault, and Félix Roussel, finishing in 2:37.599 and outpacing South Korea and Poland. Later, in the men’s 1,000 meters, Dandjinou triumphed with a time of 1:25.417, edging out his compatriot Steven Dubois. The Canadian team also emerged victorious in the men’s 5,000 relay, with Dandjinou contributing to the win alongside Maxime Laoun, Dubois, and Roussel.

Canada concluded the weekend with a total of 10 medals and a commendable home performance of 17 medals over a two-week period, including 10 gold, three silver, and four bronze. The team currently leads the Team Crystal Globe standings, with a substantial lead over the Korean White Tigers. Dandjinou and Sarault are also comfortably positioned at the top of their respective Crystal Globe rankings.

In other events, Courtney Sarault made her mark by securing a silver medal in the women’s 500 meters, while Santos-Griswold claimed bronze in the women’s 1,500.
