When clips of the Canadian production Heated Rivalry began surfacing on TikTok towards the end of the previous year, Dima, a 24-year-old engineer based in Moscow, found himself intrigued by the captivating storyline centered on the romantic entanglement between two professional hockey players – one from Canada and the other from Russia.
