In short track speed skating, Will Dandjinou, Steven Dubois, and Felix Roussel will compete in the men’s 1,500m event. In women’s hockey, Canada will face Germany in the quarterfinals, with captain Marie-Philip Poulin making a return to practice after an injury. The men’s hockey matchups will see several exciting games, including Canada’s win over Switzerland.

On the curling front, Canada’s women’s and men’s teams will be in action against Great Britain and Switzerland, respectively. Notably, tensions were high in the men’s game against Sweden, with accusations exchanged between the teams.

Moreover, freestyle skiing will feature the women’s big air qualifying event, with Canadian athletes Megan Oldham and Naomi Urness aiming for strong performances.

In other news, injured Canadian stars Deanna Stellato-Dudek and Mark McMorris have declared their readiness to compete in figure skating and snowboarding, respectively.
