Drake enthusiasts were in for a treat with the release of the rapper’s highly anticipated “not so short film” on Tuesday night. Drake had teased the film on Instagram, and true to his word, the film offered fans a glimpse into his summer adventures and luxurious lifestyle.

Titled “Fear of Missing Out (FOMO),” the hour-long film was streamed on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple, showcasing Drake dancing in his Toronto mansion, spending time with his mother, Sandra Graham, and cruising on his lime-green luxury speedboat against the backdrop of the Toronto skyline.

Packed with Toronto and Canada references, the film featured Drake and rapper Loe Shimmy in Iron Man suits at the Canadian National Exhibition. It also included appearances from various celebrities like SexyyRed, Stunna Sandy, Winnie Harlow, Kevin Durant, Lena the Plug, and more.

The video introduced nine new tracks, including collaborations with Don Toliver, PartyNextDoor, and Yeat. Among them was Drake’s highly awaited remix of Ella Langley’s hit song “Choosin’ Texas.”

During the Toronto premiere of “FOMO,” Drake revealed plans for a world tour in 2027, hinting at more surprises to come. Despite the film being made private on YouTube after its debut, online reactions varied from mixed reviews to glowing commendations for Drake’s creativity and longevity in the music industry.

Drake, also known as Aubrey Graham, had been dropping hints about the project through social media posts, building anticipation among his fan base. Described as “self-funded surrealism,” the film aimed to inspire viewers to seize opportunities and embrace life to the fullest.

Encouraging viewers to take action and appreciate the present moment, Drake shared a message of empowerment and self-realization through his cinematic creation. With its mix of music, visuals, and star-studded appearances, “FOMO” left a lasting impression on fans and critics alike.
