Saskatchewan advanced to the final by defeating the Queen’s University Gaels 22-11 in the Mitchell Bowl shortly after Montreal’s triumph.
Pepe Gonzalez, the Carabins quarterback, showcased his skills by completing 18 of 26 passes for 168 yards, including one touchdown pass and one interception. Gonzalez connected with Enrique Jaimes Leclair for a touchdown reception, while Gregory Mulenda-St-Pierre added another rushing touchdown for the RSEQ champions.
