A recall has been issued by Health Canada for a range of Zwilling electric kettles due to potential burn hazards. The affected models are the Zwilling Efinigy Kettle and Efinigy Kettle Pro, both with a 1.5 L capacity. Around 43,963 of these kettles were sold in Canada from February 2020 to February 2026.

Health Canada has highlighted that the handle of the kettle may become loose or detach completely while in use. This defect could lead to hot water spillage, posing scalding risks to users and individuals nearby, including young children. As of May 13, 2026, there have been 21 documented incidents and one reported injury related to this issue in Canada.

Consumers are advised to discontinue the use of the affected kettles immediately and are encouraged to request a refund by visiting the dedicated recall website. For further assistance, individuals can reach out to Zwilling directly. Health Canada also urges those encountering safety concerns with the product to report any incidents through their official channels.
