The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has announced an investigation into a fresh sexual battery accusation against hip-hop icon Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently serving a four-year prison term for offenses related to prostitution.
As per NBC News, a male music producer and publicist alleged that during a 2020 photo shoot at a Los Angeles warehouse, Combs exposed himself while masturbating and instructed the accuser to participate. The accuser, whose identity is withheld in the police report, revealed that Combs then threw a soiled shirt at him, leading the accuser to keep silent out of embarrassment for several years before reporting the incident to police in Largo, Fla., this past September.
Combs’s attorney has not yet responded to a request for comment on the recent allegations from The Associated Press. The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department acknowledged receiving the official report from the Florida authorities on Friday and confirmed that they will be probing the claims.
In addition to the latest accusation, the report outlines an episode from March 2021 where the accuser alleges that two individuals covered his head before Combs entered the room and called him a snitch.
Combs was previously found guilty in July of transporting his girlfriends and male sex workers across the country for drug-fueled sexual activities at various locations over an extended period. While acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges that could have led to a life sentence, he is scheduled for release in May 2028, with potential sentence reductions based on his engagement in substance abuse treatment and other correctional programs.
