While en route to some towing jobs, Gottinger came across a moose that had fallen through the ice near his home in Kelvington, Sask. Without hesitation, he decided to prioritize rescuing the struggling animal.
Gottinger quickly devised a plan to use his tow truck to pull the moose out of the icy water. With the help of some neighbors, he successfully hoisted the exhausted moose onto the truck’s deck.
