New details were revealed on Thursday regarding the ICE officer involved in the fatal shooting of a woman in her vehicle in Minneapolis.
The officer, who was part of a separate immigration operation in the Twin Cities region six months ago, was dragged by another driver’s vehicle for almost 100 meters, as per the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Following the June incident in Bloomington, Minn., the officer required over 30 stitches. The individual responsible for that incident was recently convicted of assault.

Vice-President JD Vance and U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem extensively discussed the officer during a press briefing on Thursday, reiterating that the agent acted in self-defense when shooting Good.
Local and state officials have challenged the Trump administration’s narrative, citing video evidence that contradicts the claim of Good intentionally using her vehicle as a weapon against the officer.
“[T]hat very ICE officer nearly had his life ended, dragged by a car six months ago,” Vance stated at the White House. “So you think maybe he’s a little bit sensitive about somebody ramming him with an automobile?”
Protests have erupted over the killing of 37-year-old Renee Good, who was shot by an ICE agent in Minneapolis on Wednesday.
Federal officials have chosen not to disclose the agent’s identity. However, the details provided by Vance and Noem closely align with federal court documents related to an incident involving an ICE officer in Bloomington in June.
According to court documents, an agent named Jonathan Ross was dragged during an attempt to arrest Roberto Carlos Muñoz, an undocumented immigrant convicted of sexually assaulting his teenage stepdaughter years ago.
