– Thunder Bay city hall will shut down at noon on Christmas Eve and remain closed until January 5.
– Thunder Bay Transit buses will follow holiday schedules on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day. The transit administration office will be closed from noon on Christmas Eve until 8:30 a.m. on January 5.
– The District of Thunder Bay Social Services Administration Board offices will close at noon on Christmas and New Year’s eves, and will remain closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
– The city’s Solid Waste and Recycling Facility will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day. Changes to residential waste collection schedules during the holidays can be found on the city’s website.
– All Thunder Bay Public Library branches will operate from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
