On Remembrance Day, CBC London is inviting the public to share stories of individuals who have made an impact through their service. Whether it’s a grandparent who served overseas, a parent who contributed on the home front, or a friend or neighbor in uniform, these individuals hold special significance. Their varied roles, whether on the front lines, in support roles, or aiding others, underscore the importance of this day.
London Morning will feature these personal reflections on Tuesday, November 11. To participate, individuals are encouraged to share details about the person they are commemorating and express gratitude for their influence in their lives. Contributions can be in the form of a brief voice memo or MP3 sent via email to londonmorning@cbc.ca by 5 p.m. on Monday or texted to 519-281-6593. Submissions should include the sender’s name, location, the name of the person being remembered, and a brief tribute to their service.
Selected stories may be broadcast during the Tuesday morning show as part of the Remembrance Day coverage. London Morning with Andrew Brown airs live on 93.5 FM and streams on cbc.ca/london from 6 to 8:37 a.m., Monday to Friday.
